This class introduces students to the skills and competencies needed for basic patient care in a healthcare setting. After successful completion of the course, the student can provide safe, effective, basic nursing care in a variety of healthcare facilities under the supervision of licensed nurses and/or other approved personnel. Students must complete clinical rotations as part of the course. Please note: Nurse Assistant Hybrid courses require online, classroom and clinical participation.
