Meet MCC’s Data Coordinator, Devyn Captain!

Devyn has joined the MCC Student Services team as its Data Coordinator. She works with student data across multiple platforms to ensure accuracy in student records and reporting. She assists the Student Services Team with information pertaining to new student applications, transcripts, acceptance, enrollment and advising.

Devyn is a graduate of North Stanly High School, and a resident of Albemarle. She is a graduate of Wingate University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology.

“I have always enjoyed helping people,” explains Devyn. “My studies in Sociology, Psychology and Human Services have prepared me for the connections I am making with applicants. I am pleased to be supporting the Success Navigators with the data they need to serve the new students arriving to MCC.”

After college graduation Devyn was the Summer Program Director for school age children at Quality Child Care Center in Oakboro. She began her employment with MCC on March first as a member of the Student Services Team put in place to implement MCC’s Quality Enhancement Plan focusing on the onboarding of new students.
